FAZ on lightsabers
Just in time for the release of the next Star Wars film, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Marco Dettweiler) has examined lightsabers in its issue of Dec. 12, 2017. Whether and in what form they could be realized in the future has been commented on by Professor Hommelhoff (even if no development of lightsabers is currently being pursued at the Chair of Laser Physics).
